Amsterdam – “ The Venice of North”

When to visit

Popular times to visit are during tulip season (mid-Mar–early May), summer (Jun–Aug) when the weather is mild and warm, and fall (Sep–Oct). Key events include King’s Day (Apr), celebrated with flea markets, outdoor concerts and an abundance of orange, the national color. Gay Pride (Aug) is a citywide street party with a parade of boats down Amsterdam’s canals. Winters are cold and damp.

2. Van Gogh Museum

3. Royal Palace of Amsterdam

The Royal Palace of Amsterdam in Amsterdam is one of three castles in the Netherlands which are at the removal of the ruler by Act of Parliament. It is arranged on the west side of Dam Square in the focal point of Amsterdam, inverse the War Memorial and close to the Nieuwe Kerk. The castle was worked as a city lobby during the Dutch Golden Age in the seventeenth century. The structure turned into the imperial castle of King Louis Napoleon and later of the Dutch Royal House.

4.  Vondelpark 

VondelPark

The Vondelpark is an open urban park of 47 hectares in Amsterdam, Netherlands. It is a piece of the district of Amsterdam-Zuid and arranged west from the Leidseplein and the Museumplein. The recreation center was opened in 1865 and initially named Nieuwe Park, however later renamed to Vondelpark, after the seventeenth century dramatist and artist Joost van cave Vondel. Yearly, the recreation center has around 10 million guests. In the recreation center is an outdoors theater, a play area and a few nourishment administration offices.

5. Canals of Amsterdam

Prinsengracht– Prinsengracht is the fourth and the longest of the primary trenches in Amsterdam. It is named after the Prince of Orange. The greater part of the waterway houses along it were worked during the Dutch Golden Age of the United Provinces.

6. Westerkerk Church

The Westerkerk is a reformed church in Dutch Protestant Calvinism in Amsterdam focal Netherlands. It is in the westernmost part of the Canal Loop neighborhood, close to Jordaan, between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht. It lies in the most western piece of the Grachtengordel neighborhood, close to the Jordaan, between the Prinsengracht and Keizersgracht. The Westerkerk was worked somewhere in the range of 1620 and 1631 in Renaissance style as indicated by structures by modeler Hendrick de Keyser (1565-1621). He is covered in the congregation he structured before: the ‘Zuiderkerk’. 7. Rottredam Zoo

Diergaarde Blijdorp, authoritatively Rotterdam Zoo, is a zoo situated in the northwestern piece of Rotterdam. 8. Cube House

Cube houses are a lot of imaginative houses worked in Rotterdam and Helmond in the Netherlands, structured by engineer Piet Blom and dependent on the idea of “living as a urban rooftop”: High thickness lodging with adequate space on the ground level, since its primary design is to enhance the space inside.  

Blom tilted the solid shape of a traditional house 45    degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-molded arch. His structure speaks to a town inside a city, where each house speaks to a tree, and all the houses together, a backwoods. The focal thought of the 3D square houses the world over is essentially advancing the space, as a house, to a superior appropriation of the rooms inside.

9. Euromast

Euromast

Euromast is a perception tower in Rotterdam, Netherlands, planned by Hugh Maaskant developed somewhere in the range of 1958 and 1960. It was uncommonly worked for the 1960 Floriade, and is a recorded landmark since 2010. 10. Madame Tussauds Amsterdam
